Balean vs. S&B Solutions

The Balean Foundation and the Balean Initiative are initiated and powered by S&B Solutions and Consultancy (AKA S&B Solutions). While the Balean Foundation is the foundation that is driving the Balean Initiative, the technical platform and infrastructure is developed and hosted by S&B Solutions and Consultancy. The Balean Foundation pays a license fee to S&B Solutions to cover hosting and development cost. The foundation is non-profit by default but also S&B Solutions’ mission is to grow and scale the initiative rather than maximizing profit.

Two handbooks

In order to make to be clear and fully transparant about how both Balean and S&B Solutions work and cooperate, both organisations have a separate handbook, whilst still sharing parts of it.
